Max Wittek, Cody Kessler Address Transfer Question

With the quarterback position open, a natural question is whether Max Wittek or Cody Kessler would transfer if they are not named the starter.
Wittek said after Saturday’s practice, “I guess I’d have to cross that bridge if it came to it.”
Kessler said he would not transfer: “If I’m not the right guy, so be it. I don’t want that (transferring) on my name. It goes against my beliefs.”

  1. Before the year is out, Max Browne starts, Kessler and Max Wittek rides the pine. End of the season Wittek transfers, Kiffin gets fired and if Haden hires a good coach, southern cal begins to re-build. Scott Wolf becomes the most trusted beat writer by the new coach and all of us start singing the praises of Scott Wolf for all the inside information that he provides. Maybe? one can only hope.

  2. The more important question is if Max Browne doesn’t play this year does he transfer?

  3. Wittek it is your job to lose.. If you can not hold on to it, you have no one to blame but yourself..
    you might as well do everyone a favor and transfer now!
