There is better leadership on the USC team this year, if you listen to the players.

“Once we took our second loss (last year), we knew that’s it for the national championship,” star receiver Marqise Lee said. “But if we do have a loss this year, we’ll stay together as a team.”

Quarterback Max Wittek echoes Lee that things are different this year. Story here.

    • Since last years team quit on Kifin and the consensus is that you can’t get them back after you’ve lost them, it really won’t matter.

      • Only time will tell what the pulse of this team will be like. But winning can cure everything

  1. The Pete Carroll guys are gone and now Kiffin’s got all his guys, expect better team unity.

    • Only fourteen scholarship players + Markowitz left on the roster that committed to Carroll. Many starters.
