Tailback Silas Redd participated in practice today but wore a yellow jersey to avoid contact. Lane Kiffin said he would probably keep Redd out of tomorrow’s scrimmage.

Kiffin said the cornerbacks are doing better than during spring practice, when they were the weakest unit on the team. Kevon Seymour, Torin Harris, Anthony Brown and Devian Shelton are getting most of the snaps.

It might also help that the front seven is putting a lot of pressure on the quarterbacks right now in training camp.
