Lane Kiffin Says Max Browne Handled QB News Like `A Professional’

Lane Kiffin said he spoke “at length” with freshman quarterback Max Browne to tell him about the decision to make quarterback a two-horse race between Cody Kessler and Max Wittek.
“It doesn’t mean he’s redshirting or No. 3,’ Kiffin said, trying to give Browne hope that he could still play this season.
Kiffin explained why Browne is behind Wittek and Kessler.
“There is a difference from those two and (Browne) of being able to (handle) the speed of the game,” Kiffin said.

  1. Can’t Kiffin count? If you are behind two players who are vying for the starting job, you are number three! There should be three slots on the Dennys menu that shows that! He probably won’t redshirt because Max Turd is on the offensive line!
