QB Rankings

Here’s the rankings heading into the second scrimmage or “preseason Game No. 2” according to Lane Kiffin. One to four Euros with four being best.

Max Wittek €€.6 (2.6 Euros)

Cody Kessler €€.5 (2.5 Euros)

I give Wittek a slight lead because he’s made some dynamic plays this week in an essentially even race. What one has to wonder is if Kessler can win the job if both quarterbacks are even given the feeling that Kiffin prefers a taller QB in that scenario.

  1. Scottie: your phrasing makes it sound like these are Coach Kiffin’s ratings, which of course they are not. I thought you’ve been saying all summer how Kessler was ahead of Wittek… and now you say they’ve been even? Huh??

    • “Any way the wind blows, doesn’t really matter to me, to me ………….” Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen

  2. another thing to consider is Witteck has huge saucer- sized eyes, which could give him the edge in games played under poor lighting conditions.

Quick Thought: what happened to Ray Reyes??? this guy is the biggest blog teaser since Call Girl!!!

he comes around with his CHALLENGE ME!! and gets the Cadre all fired up and ready to start world war III, then he slips away like a ghost!! talk about Jedi Mind Games!!!

    • Go troll the ruin blog. You are acting a like a 8==D

      Dementia is some nasty stuff

      PS…..your material is beyond stale

  3. You have a choice of two equally attractive women, and one is 5’9″ and the other 5’5″. You take the one who gives you more for the same “money.”

    • Your analogy works only if you have to pay for the companionship of a women. Otherwise I suggest you judge your women by their Charm and Character, not their “price tag!” What are you, 13?

      • Who cares when the lights are out

What’s your trade secret on keeping the teeth so white?

        • I gotta say, your hostility toward women is disconcerting. I think its time we trade you for all Bucket’s logins……

    • Your analogy with women is “interesting” – but the question is which one will be better looking in two years? The starter this year will have the opportunity to develop into a better QB, so when USC is playing ND in two years with an undefeated season on the line and needs a miracle from their QB to win – is it Wittek or Kessler that will develop into that player?

  4. Good Lord, now we have humorless feminists on the blog like dear old Violet

The term “money” was used that way for a purpose, dear old Violet. Get it?

    • Yes I got it, you suggested you pay money in exchange for the company of a woman, and I also infer you are indicating you prefer 5’9″ to 5’5″.

I simply called you on it, and you are being rather defensive. But no harm done, I understand you were going for humor. Trojan shall not harm Trojan.

      • Hey bucket, how about a few kicks to the cranium. Dr. T Bone said it would help your dementia.

Plus, violet is too good for a loser like you!!!!

  5. Scott is onto something. I think that if Kiffin thought the INTs, fumbled snaps, assorted other errors would be equal, Kiffin would opt for a slightly lower completion percentage, bigger arm, and greater preference for downfield throws over a higher completion percentage.

But does Kiffin think that the INTs, fumbled snaps, and errors will be equal?

Does either read defenses better, or go through progressions faster and better? (Will either even have the authority to change plays at the LS, based on an unexpected look?)

Is either more cognizant of down and distance, and better at making quick decisions based on that?

    It’s tricky.

If it looks like this next week, and the team is a little healthier, I’m reckless enough to say they should alternate against Hawaii. I think that USC could still “eke out a win.”
