Louisville Coach Charlie Strong Does Not Want To Be USC

Louisville coach Charlie Strong is warning his team about the pitfalls of being ranked too high. Here’s what he said in an interview radio station WDRB: “(USC) started No. 1. And they didn’t even finish in the top 25. That could be us. You look at it, if we allow that to happen, that will be us. Let’s not become the USC of this season.”

  1. This quote was from August 8. Must be a slow day in the “I don’t go to anything but the last 10 minutes of practice and actually have any good content of my own” business.

  2. Old “news” story……..by the way, Wolf……. Man finally set foot on the moon!….. really!

  3. And some say Kiffin isn’t a Great Motivator. Too bad it’s 1,800 miles away

  4. A jab at USC? I see how it is, Charlie. Now that he said that, they better not have a losing season or his asset will be on the hot seat.
