Cody Kessler’s Not The Starting QB . . . Yet

Lane Kiffin declined to name a starting QB after watching film of scrimmage No. 2. Link here.

I think Lane Kiffin is good at recruiting talent when he goes by the star system but he is not good at evaluating talent once its right in front of him. That’s why hes indecisive right now.

Kiffin wants the taller QB with the stronger arm. This is not a competition at all. It is how to get the public to warm back up over Max Wittek after last year’s poor performance. So far, Cody Kessler is not making things easy, but Wittek will be the starter this year. Max Browne will be the starter next year. A tall strong arm QB is what Kiffin wants. So I’m already getting ready for a 5 loss season! šŸ™‚

Agree, Capt. We just don’t have a reliable QB. And I think we may see all three QB’s start at one point or another this season. Given that, and factoring in the “easy” schedule, 8-5 is realistec. We just won’t win 10 games. I hope we do, but we won’t.
