Winners And Losers Of The Week

Cody Kessler

He was probably lucky not to throw a couple interceptions in scrimmage but his 231 yards passing put a lot of pressure on Lane Kiffin to start him.

Going back to black shoes and white socks at players’ request means no more fake Oregon look.

Quentin Powell

Linebacker draws praise from Lane Kiffin. Never easy for a non-skill player.

Darreus Rogers

Star of second scrimmage with several big catches.

Su’a Cravens

He will start at safety opposite Dion Bailey. Enough said.

It got old seeing just one or two healthy backs this week in training camp.

Pat Haden

That video praising Time Warner doesn’t look so great to anyone missing KCBS, KCAL or Showtime.

Max Wittek

Must overcome perception of losing second scrimmage to Kessler.

Josh Shaw

He should start somewhere in secondary. If not at safety, why not cornerback?

  • L’Angelo Misterioso

Added loser of the week: America, as Obama is still Dictator in Chief

    • TrojanFamily

And logic, thanks to your idiocy.

    • steveg

      well said

    • Mike 70

You said it right POTUS is a turd like Bucket!

  • Golden Trojan

Lack of healthy tailbacks and o line probably why Witteck could’nt move the ball against the first team D. The first four games will be like playing against our 2nd team D, so either QB could start and move the ball. What is a winner is the Defense.

    • TrojanFan

The defense might have to carry the team through the first half of the season, especially with a new QB starting. They can do it SEC style, win with your defense

  • USConqueror1

Losers: Anyone that doesnt think USC will come back strong this year and make a major comeback winning the Pac12 chamionship and bring home a major BCS bowl or better.

    • rusoviet

I agree – with daddy gone and ‘the favored one’ no longer the ‘qb’ on top of the pressure to produce on Kiffin and a much easier schedule double digits wins or get a new coach.

      FIGHT ON!!!

      • betomas

RAH RAH RAH!! We are unbeatable…forever!!

    • betomas

      RAH RAH RAH!!!

    • Stu Azole

yes, yes, those freshmen QBs who can’t seem to separate themselves will lead the trogies to the promised land. With Lane still calling plays, what could go wrong?

    • B.Miller

I think the defense will be a huge part of that.
Im excited to see the 5-2 in action

  • ThaiMex

EVERY ONE of you RAH RAH’s will be gone SIX GAMES into the season! After 3 1/2 years in the program, your Q.B will still be called BAMBI, and the team “quits” after a couple of Adkademick casualties, and a couple others have run ins with the LAW. Haden will come out and say something like…(Would somebody get me another Gin) “Goat Boy is still our Coach” as the Torgans march into a pathetic 5 & 8 season. LIMBO U, as the name implies, goes just a little bit LOWER!
    For now,,,,Enjoy The Cool Aid!
    fit UN torgans!

    • TrojanFan

Smile when the flavor changes, penis breath!!

      Dementia is some nasty stuff

      PS….FUC OFF!!!

Bucket. Now posting regularly as, among others, two different women.

Or is it three? So hard to keep track.

    • TrojanFan

There was also karla, aka his right hand. She was in charge of the knuckle shuffle up and down the piss pump, but Carpal Tunnel set-in and she retired.

Helen and Violet are now tag-teaming the job…ouch!

    • Jezro, in your words, has it come to this??

i ignore the fact that after several years you are still the only person who thinks i am Thai Mex, i wrote it off to you being a stubborn old donkey who can’t admit he’s wrong.

but why on Earth would you think i am Helen or Violet?? that doesn’t even make any sense they are both trOXans!! (and more importantly, they don’t have the trademark wit and charm of Bucket)

i am concerned you have taken the Leonard Tose offramp to Coo-Coo City!!
(by the way it’s rather queeeer that you diss Jim Healy, yet you and all the trOXans seem to instatnly recognize even the most obscure Healy sound bytes!!!)

  • john wolcott

Ever see a pre-season prediction of a college team become fact?– Not too often,, and it seems this SC team is more difficult than most to get an accurate read:

  • Trojan Hoarse

“Tailbacks – It got old seeing just one or two healthy backs this week in training camp.” ….it called developing depth and protecting your known assets, you Moron…..If anyone practiced and got re-injured, you would be second guessing Kiffin and the medical staff to no end…. you know it, and we know it…..

    • TrojanFan

In the Wolfman’s eyes, Kiffin can do no right

      • Trojan Hoarse

Apparently, UCLA won the coin flip and selected Jack Wang….

  • B.Miller

Shaw is too big to play CB.. He would need to lose some muscle..
