D.J. Haley, a 7-foot center from Virginia Commonwealth, has transferred to USC. He will be eligible immediately because he already graduated. He didn’t do much, though, averaging 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game and quit the team in March.
“D.J is an exceptional student-athlete as he graduated in three years from VCU,” said Enfield. “We are excited to bring him back home to California to be part of the USC basketball program. We expect D.J. to be a valuable contributor on both sides of the ball for us this season.”
Haley played against USC in the NCAA Tournament two years ago when the Rams upset the Trojans. He had five fouls and no points in 11 minutes.
