USC Could Use Kickoff Game In 2015

USC’s held talks with the Chick-Fil-A Bowl officials about playing a kickoff game as soon as 2015. That would be a good time to play an SEC or ACC team. Why? Because USC plays Arkansas State on Sept. 5, 2015 and Idaho on Sept. 12, 2015 at the Coliseum. Ugh.

  1. Great idea, Wolfie! Alabama, LSU, Georgia, the other USC…. I love it! Bring em on!

      • SEC scheduling has been rather curious. ….since 2000, LSU played Florida and Georgia 17 times…..Alabama played Florida and Georgia only 8 times during the same period of time. …and last year, Alabama didn’t play Florida, Georgia or South Carolina during the regular season. …

        • The SEC needs to go to a 9 game conference schedule, instead of scheduling 4 non-conference cupcakes to help pad the win totals

          • There have also been discussions to have you removed from this site. What’s your point Garbage man?
            fit UN torgan!

          • IF our boy TF really is a garbage man, just talk to him when YOU get to work…..or when you pick up TF’s trash in Brentwood.

          • Then he scavenges it for plastic bottles and aluminum cans…..he’s a Green-go, after all……

    • Forget Florida, 1991 was the last time they played a non-conference game outside the state, hard to believe

  2. Whose fault is it that the SEC cravenly refuses to play USC? After we lit up both Auburn and AR home/away that is when that ‘jimmah cracked corn’ SEC commissioner put out the word that was swiftly agreed to by the gutless AD’s and HC’s of the White/Black/trash Conference to ‘nevah’ play USC – they made TX A&M bail out last year.

“I wish I was in the land of cotton…potatoes grautin oh how rotten look away…..”

  3. After a undefeated Auburn was left out of the BCS title game, the SEC has done a fantastic marketing campaign to promote their conference as the best. Many times it is, especially at the top 3 or so, but their bottom is usually weaker than the PAC12’s. They usually schedule 4 cupcakes, and then make sure that the SEC schedule is set up for the top teams to thrive. They need to go to a 9 game schedule, and stop scheduling non Div-1 schools. Get an 8 team playoff with the top conference champs assured of a spot, and it might encourage big payday non-conference games, like in basketball.
