Max Wittek And Cody Kessler Share The Job? Is That Good?

So how does a two-quarterback system grab you? I’m not against the idea but I think Lane Kiffin’s been extremely wishy washy during training camp and he could not even name a starter today for the Hawaii game.

Do they alternate series? Do they alternate quarters? Will Kiffin stick with one if they get hot? It’s one thing to not tell the media or the fans. But the players are in the dark too. How do Wittek or Kessler feel on the inside about this?

Does Marqise Lee want it to be a mystery each series who comes off the sideline? What about Marcus Martin, the center?

  1. For this game at least it makes sense. Both guys are equal and have minimal game experience. Let’s see how they do in real time with this team. You play them a quarter each to get some rhythm and see how it goes. Who ever moves the ball, makes good decisions, scores points and doesn’t turn the ball over. If one guy is hot in the first half let him start the 3rd. Even if it takes a couple games to sort out, who cares as long as they win! I’m just ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

    • I think it’s a good idea to give them both quality playing time. The cream will rise to the top!

    • I agree, playing Hawaii is like a preseason NFL game. We need to see how both do in game-like conditions before the real season begins.

  2. I’m sure kiffin has the answers, but you’ll be the last one to find out!

    I wonder why….HAHAHA!!!

  3. Leave it to the media to make the biggest deal out of a non issue..
I’m sure it will be fine for all the media, the players and the fans Wolf..
