Former USC tailback C.J. Gable rushed for 61 yards with a TD and added 43 yards receiving with a touchdown in the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ 37-14 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Gable leads Hamilton with seven TDs this season.
“I came out here just to show what I can do, no one would give me a chance,” Gable said. “I wanted to show everybody what I could do, and I think I’m doing it.”

Gable was always a good soldier, who, whether fair or not, didn’t get a lot of touches after his first active year. As I recall, he has good hands as well.
