So it could have been worse if Marcus Martin wasn’t doing some amazing things out there.
One final thought– this was a grinder of a game where the Trojans had to travel for 5-hour and play in 90-degree heat with humidity. They weren’t prepared for that.
I will bet with a 1 1/2 week period for SC to figure out their mistakes that Washington State is in for a bitter surprise.

It wasn’t just the left side of the line. #77 Kevin Graf got called for at least two false starts and was run past by a defender as if his feet were pegged to the ground. And he is supposed to be one of the best and most experienced linemen.
It will be a long season and eventually will cost Kiffin his job if he keeps this no identity-style of offense up.
Offensive line will struggle when you try to get really fancy.

I think it was a counter as well. You would think they would’ve called at least 1-2 HB dives with the FB in front — or even a student body play.
