In case you missed it, here’s my appearance on the Petros and Money Show today. Listen here
And if that is not enough, here is another appearance on the Doug McIntyre show. Listen here
NFL analyst and long-time Dallas Cowboys executive Gil Brandt thinks Kelly would leave the Eagles.
“It would not shock me to see Kelly leave (the Eagles) after one season,” Brandt said. Link here
“Lane is a very misunderstood guy.”
I will be a guest on the Petros and Money Show on 570-AM around 3:45 p.m.
For those of you (like me) totally underwhelmed at the idea of Jack Del Rio becoming USC’s next football coach, here’s what Denver Broncos coach John Fox said about that tweet Del Rio was at LAX last night.
“He wasn’t at LAX. I was with him at DelFriscos when that report happened,” Fox said.
And here’s what Pat Haden told Dan Patrick about when asked how important it would be to hire a USC guy? “Not important,” Haden said.
That’s a relief since Del Rio never coached in college, never recruited and does not strike me as the type of personality USC needs to recover from the Kiffin era.
This one is courtesy of Athlon’s and features Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris. Can you imagine how well that would be received if it happened?
Who would you call? I would call David Shaw of Stanford today. I know he is most likely not interested. But he’s the best coach in the Pac-12 and as I said before, get turned down the best.
USC athletic director Pat Haden said he did not speak to anyone yet about the coaching search. So was it true Jack Del Rio was at LAX last night? Did he speak to someone other than Haden?`
`I don’t think (Lane Kiffin) probably would have taken the job four years ago had he known what he was getting himself into,” Haden told the Colin Cowherd show.
