USC Morning Buzz

We hear safety Demetrius Wright has moved to cornerback with USC shorthanded because of injuries to starters Kevon Seymour and Anthony Brown. Seymour has a bruised shin with possible nerve damage while Brown sprained his knee.

Brown appears to be the more serious injury but Seymour’s often battled injuries since he arrived at USC. Wright did not play much against Hawaii with Su’a Cravens, Dion Bailey and Josh Shaw all playing safety.

From where do “we hear”. Sources or is it annonimous sources?

      And who are “we”?……

      It was Ann Onimous.

Why did The Kiffer put Ty Issac in for one play and end of game? Questions: Does this action blow his chances of a RED SHIRT year? Again why so few passes to the RB’s?

I think he played special teams before action as an RB.

So the coaches believe he really can contribute this year. With our lack of depth we really don’t have much choice if we want to win the Pac 12.

A QB might redshirt to allow more time to learn the system. Other positions need that redshirt for season ending injuries that need rehab time. Ask George Farmer if he’s glad he had a redshirt year to use.

      • Tom Oday

If the situation had called for it, Farmer would most likely have been granted a sixth-year (medical red-shirt) of eligibility.

Wazoo is much improved, we’ll need all the help we can get in the CB spot. Safeties look strong.
