Did You Boo USC Or Lane Kiffin?

USC quarterback Cody Kessler had this remark about the boos Saturday.
“It gives the other team momentum when the fans boo you,” Kessler said.
But most of the boos to me seem directed toward Lane Kiffin, not the USC players. That is an important distinction.

  1. The players can’t make that distinction so real SC fans shouldn’t boo during games. You are hurting the players while the coaches are used to it.

    • Sorry, don’t agree. Everyone knows this is for Kiffin, and the terrible state he has put SC in. If Haden thinks this can get better and Kiffin will win over the alumni and fans, then he is delusional. If not, then he should let him go now. Or at least tell him he must turn over the offense to the assistants and try to become a HC.

  2. Of course Goatboy is used to it … SC fans booed him in 2006 too. But then Garrett/Haden or whoever brought the idiot back ! what next after Goatturd is fired … Steve Suckisian !!

  3. I didn’t boo, but from the stands I thought it was obvious the booing was directed at the bubble screen play call and not the players. I felt bad for the players though to have to hear that. Unfortunately it seems Pat Haden needs to hear the booing to get the message.

  4. Want the booing to stop Cody ? Ignore your brain dead coach’s plays, call your own game and the boos will probably stop because you can probably call better plays than he can

  5. People are booing USC – the players and Coach Kiffin both represent the university while on the field.

  6. I didn’t boo because I don’t see how the players can just assume it’s directed at their coach and not at them, and I’m not going to boo a bunch of kids half my age, even if I did pay to watch the show.

Speaking of which, I remember a UCLA fan a few years ago complaining that he didn’t want to buy tickets anymore because he just wasn’t being entertained by the product on the field. Saturday, I felt the same.

  7. I would Boo both because Pat Haden is in denial and it is more his fault then Lane Kiffin. Kiffin should have been fired last season and Haden is going to let the program bleed just as he did the Basketball program and Kevin O’Neil. Sometimes a change is obvious and it’s up to the Athletic Director to know that.

    • Fire kiffin or kiffin learn how to call a better offensive scheme or relinquish the coordinator job
