Blame The Lane Kiffin Effect

USC took an unusual step of highlighting tweets from Marqise Lee and Devon Kennard denying there was a players-only meeting Sunday. Besides the obvious reversal from what was said yesterday, this reveals the hyper-sensitive side of Lane Kiffin.

Players are supposed to be focused on defeating Boston College, not sending out tweets that were no doubt done in consultation with the football program. For someone who claims not to care what is written, Kiffin seems to never miss a chance to create drama.

Of course, his supporters say this is the Kiffin Effect, which means no one would care if Jim Mora or Pete Carroll did the same thing.

Interesting, I’m sure the same could be said about you.

      • Yes…his drama is so “good” his website is FREE while all other USC sites need membership.

        • You do understand what Wolf’s job is, right? He works for a paper and writes a blog you check 50x a day.

          • LOL@ 50x per day. You do know that Disgus is linked to multiple sites, right?

I feel the need to explain myself like talking to a 3 year old here…

RE: Scott’s “job” – Just how’s the traffic of his blog vs. REAL USC bloggers such as Scott Schrader? You know…a blogger who actually has INFO on the football program than just trolling?

    • I’ve got to disagree. Pete C. knew about Bush and fam and turned a blind eye. Let’s stop BSing about that. When the kitchen got hot, Pete bounced. I can’t give Pete C. a free pass…and believe me I’ve tried to live that fact down. The jury is still out on Mora, but at least he’s been defending his players and not throwing them under the bus.

  2. Speaking of focusing on BC. Why don’t you write up a little something about our next opponent. What can we expect to see from them Wolfie?
