Pick The Score

Last week proved to be a tricky task. Do you trust Lane Kiffin to “fix” the passing game problems? Just what do we know about Boston College?

  1. USC should be able to run the ball and set up play action, which is what, I am guessing, Lane is plans to do the rest of the season. The offense going forward is going to try to be more Harley and less Ducati: strong in short, straight line bursts, but unable to push it at the edges because it is prone to structural breakdowns. It is the only way this USC offense is going to keep it’s head above water, looking like a Bo Schembeckler team (minus the beef upfront).

Sucks to be Marqise Lee in this offense (significantly less receptions and TDs and total yardage) but at least Marqise can tell NFL scouts that he worked on his blocking!

Still, a Harley offense is better than the late 1960s Triumph offense we saw since the Sun Bowl: broken down at the side of the road and profusely leaking fluids.

BC is going to squat on its coverage, and why not, it has worked for the last eight games. Still, defense should dominate.Madden and Davis will grind BC down and allow Kessler to throw just enough that USC wins 30 – 3, give Kiffin as last minute stay of execution.

Utah State will be a toss up. The problem starting conference play is that the Pac-12 operates Formula One offenses, while Kiffin is trying to win with a NASCAR team. Lane Kiffin is the Dyck Tryckle of college football!

  2. BC 17
    USC 10
The Lame Kiffin play calling machine rolls, er sputters on.
And I had SC losing last week, you can look it up.

  3. BU’s QB is local and this is his only chance to play for fam and friends.

BU will stack up the box, Kessler will feel the heat when is forced to throw.

end result: if BU does not commit more than 1 INT they win. their QB hit 23 out of 30 in his first game so he is accureate and he is a senior.

    BU 23
    Southen Cal 16
So let it be written, so let it be DONE!!

  4. 24-10 SC
Defense only gives up a field goal, Kessler throws another pick 6 on a bubble screen, but rebounds with a good show from the running backs and Lee, covers the spread with 24.

  5. 24-10 SC
Defense gives a field goal and maybe gets a score on turnover, Kessler throws a pick 6 on a bubble screen but rebounds with good running attack and a fired up Lee, to cover the points.

  6. I HAVE NO FAITH OR TRUST IN LAME KIFFIN..
Done defending him and rooting for him.. I have the Pac 12 Channel, and will not watch as long as Kffin in coach!

  7. BC 24 – SUC’s 6. The defense will provide the field position, and Kiffy’s offense will kick dos FG’s.
