A reader sent in this screen grab to note that USC’s offense is not the only thing that needs fixing this week. The special teams also needs to rebound against Boston College.

    • That’s Honest Abe Marokwitz, a walk-on senior, who wiffed his block. On the blocked field goal Kessler didn’t rotate the threads which caused the kick to go wide. Both fundamental mistakes that we shouldn’t see from USC.

    • Bucket you should be nice to Scotty so he gets you the HD package. I’m sure a night in your Barkley jersey will do the trick.

  1. My guess is that this will be a coming out party, as such, for Kessler. For the first time he can go in with a play to win attitude rather than a looking over his shoulder afraid to make a mistake attitude.

He doesn’t call the plays but I suspect Kiffin with his neck in the guillotine will show more urgency and widen the playing field for the passing game and go down field.

The tight ends should be open all day with the secondary focused on Lee and Aghohar. .Bootlegs could be particularly effective and throw in a few qb draws, Kessler is an athlete.

The passing game should open up the running game, as well as vice versa.

First play of the game go play action and look deep for Lee. Set the tone.

  2. There were people who said that Kiffin should have tried to recruit Kool-Aid Man, but he was only rated a two-star out of Kraft High School.

  3. What may count even more is that the Laker Girls will be performing at half time in a Jerry Buss tribute. Maybe that will help the crowd count.

  4. For those SUC’s that need a dose feel good; Key Johnson is shooting off his big mouth on ESPN 710. Would one of you stout Trojans ask him if he ever received a SB ring from the T. B. Buc’s? Key was so essential to the team, that Guden got rid of him before the playoffs.

  5. I see waste bucket selling peanuts in the stands, pathetic!. The baby blue sweater with white stains was a dead giveaway….ouch!
