The Trojans actually converted a third down and Cody Kessler flipped a 5-yard touchdown pass to Tre Madden.
The big moment, though, was the crowd’s sarcastic ovation when Lane Kiffin called a deep pass on the first play of the game even though it was incomplete.
This pass/touchdown was a great moment, after last week’s miserable game. I guess I was sitting too high up to notice much sarcastic behavior among the fans.
