Darreus Rogers, Silas Redd Updates

USC coach Lane Kiffin said Sunday he hoped wide receiver Darreus Rogers would play against Utah State. Rogers suffered a high-ankle sprain against Boston College and was on crutches with a protective boot on his injured ankle today.

Then again, Kiffin said he hoped Silas Redd would play since training camp. Redd wore pads but not football shoes at today’s practice.

    Rope a dope.

Agreed, if Silas was to make an appearance it would as a surprise, either against either an unsuspecting Utah State or ASU.

Only NOBS and the Fat Booster are allowed to know the insider injury info so they can bet accordingly.

Say, has anyone ever seen Nobs and the Fat Booster in the same place at the same time? And when Nobs takes off his glasses, doesn’t he look a lot like… ?

      • Old Trojie

The nickname comes from when Mike Garrett used to make him dress up as Tommy Trojan, and Garrett was heard in his office yelling “boost it up a little higher for Big Daddy!”

Thus Nobs was hereafter known in HH as “the Fat Booty Booster”. True story.

Ever Notice how Booty Booster/Nobs always sticks up for that failure Garrett?

        • WEB_Dupree

I was just kidding. It is well known that Garrett himself is posting and tweeting as Nobs/Joe Blow/The Fat Booster, masquerading as some guy from Orange County, when he should have his mind on his duties at Langston U.

    Silas should “Redd” shirt………….

      For sure!

query why Redd’s still even being discussed. He was average last year and put the ball on the turf way too many times. Better to let the young guys get their minutes at this point.
