USC Morning Buzz

Utah State coach Matt Wells did not even try to hide the meaning of a victory over USC on Monday.

“I think it would be a milestone for the program,” Wells said. “It would be a benchmark and it would be huge. All that stuff is an understatement.”

Tailback Joey DeMartino, who is from San Diego, said the Aggies’ recent success makes an upset more possible.

“But now coming to Utah State and seeing our program completely change around after the last four years, I like this opportunity even better to get the opportunity to get a `W’ against them,” he said. Full story here

      Exactly….Wolf is attempting to present this as a bold or brash statement….or that their coach is being refreshingly honest…..What else was he going to say? ….No?…The reality is it would be a huge win for Utah State and their conference, and it would be the final nail in Kiffin’s coffin……..

    With the way USC defense is playing I doubt very seriously that Utah State will defeat them. If the Trojans can manage to put 14 on the score board I think they will be ok . Now when the Pac 12 Conference play begins that’s another story.
