Here’s what ESPN came up with to show the difference in offensive production between 2012 and 2013.

  1. More interesting would be comparing 2013 with 2011, Kiffin’s 2 Loss Team. That group started out very slow, barely beating Minnesota scoring 19, holding off another team from the state of Utah at home 17-14 (actually 23-14 thanks to a final play blocked FG TD Return), then got blasted at Arizona State in Week 4. From that point on, all was well. There is hope as long as the defense stays healthy.

    • Yes, and that team had a terrible first-year QB, a bad o line and people booing them at home. Oh wait, no, that’s this year!

  2. Agree, this year’s defense is great. The chart highlights the offense, and although the playcalling is consistently questionable this year, as it has been in prior years, there had to be an expectation of passing yards per game. At least so far. Exacerbated by the weird treatment of the QBs. Will get even tougher from this point forward.

  3. Let espn do their comparison after Pac 12 play, that’s when the real joke begins… lol ! because thus far the Trojans have not played any top notch Team.

  4. If Haden keeps Kiffin, it should be mandatory for Kiffin to hire a legit OC! If he does not Kiffin needs to go!
