A Thursday night game is brutal: No tailgating on campus and all campus parking lots cannot be used for the game. It will be a nightmare to attend. TV revenue drives everything. The fact that I do not know the start time for a game more than a week in advance is absurd. I love SC football win or lose, though I prefer winning, but I may give up my 15 year season tickets next year. Every home game but Arizona has a TBA start time.
Here is my typically invite for friends:
Me: “Do you want to come with me to a game Saturday?”
Friend: “When is kick off?”
Me: “I do not know. Sometime between 12:00 to 7:30. With tailgating lets plan on leaving sometime between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.”
The cable company has a shorter window. I know there are worst problems in the world, but I have had it.
