USC Morning Buzz

SUN.DEVIL.STADIUMUSC faces its first hostile environment of the season on Saturday night at Sun Devil Stadium. Or does it? The past two weeks at the Coliseum were no picnic for the Trojans.

“That’s the crowd,” wide receiver Marqise Lee said.

Said tailback Tre Madden: “They want to see us execute on every possession.”

Kiffen has even tainted his players. They seem to have embrased the “everyones out to get us” atitood. The trOJan program is self destrukting to a slow ireparabel death!

    • Fred Sampson

Players always take on the Head Coaches attitude win or loose, and that is why this Lane Kiffin Coached team is DOOMED !!!! Look for ASU to embarrass USC on Saturday.

      • Hey SUC’s

        Very astute.

    • sureshot32

I don’t understand how bruin fans can exist so long in the sporting world, presumably reading ample stories of college football, and still manage to mangle the spelling of the name Kiffin. It’s really not that hard. Think of it this way… Kiffin is all about himself, thus, the repeated “i”. One “i” is not enough for Kiffin so there’s an extra one for good measure.

Stop spelling Kiffin with an “e” – it makes you look even worse than you already are for being a bruin fan.

        It is Lame Kitten!

      • Hey SUC’s

#32, hav ju ever herd of tonug and Chreek.

        • sureshot32

The inability to spell common names and words is considered tongue-in-cheek in Westwood? Strange stuff going on over there.

And are you guys typing on iPads with your noses? How are you able to mangle the English language so adeptly?

          • FIGHTONtoVICTORY

When you have the mind capacity of a 7 year-old, purposefully misspelling words is funny to you.

          • Bruin Rick

I refuse to let you talk about my hero, Mr. Lane “the offensive mastermind” Kiffin that way.

      • Bruin Rick

Thaksn sureshot, Im glad you todl me now as Im in the porsesc of preparing a shrine to yer feerless leader. I get sepl his naime wright on the plaque. He singel handedly rezarected the might Ucla football program.

What pathetic play calling are we gonba get this week?

So in this article you say “a reporter joked with Lee” about the booing, making it seem like it wasn’t you, but in your post yesterday you said that you were joking with “a player”. Which is it wolfie?

The NCAA is reducing the Penn State scholarships penalty

    • Bruin Rick

Penn state’s level of culpability did not even come close to what the corrupt trOJans did. I think it’s a fair decision by the ncaa.

      • Jim – yes I’m a fan

Your total and complete prejudice is incredible, as is your ridiculous hatred. Penn State officials knowingly allowed the sexual abuse of minors. And you think USC was worse! It’s amazing how some people believe what they want to believe – in complete disregard of the facts.

By the way, I bet McNair wins his lawsuit against the NCAA, unless the NCAA settles out of court, which would not surprise me.

  • Bill

At least you don’t have to worry about another school or NFL team snatching Lame Kitten away, unless it is Manhatten Beach Middle School!

  • sureshot32

With the NCAA walking back sanctions against Penn State, I wonder if Pat Haden will renew the fight against the NCAA or at least move to sue for damages? Clearly, the NCAA was capricious and wrong in their punishment against USC.

    • ProbationU

I thought Trojans were too proud to whine.

      • sureshot32

Just stating the truth. You can’t handle the truth?

        • ProbationU

The truth is you cheated and got caught. Can YOU handle that? Granted that the NCAA consists of a bunch of corrupt douchebags and SC doesn’t cheat nearly as well as most of the SEC, but Garrett really blew this for you guys and you are now paying the price.

Besides, do you really want Kiffin coaching MORE scholarship players? He can’t coach what he has. He is your version of Steve Lavin.

      It’s a little late now.

  • Jack B

Telling player responses, if not taken out of context.

Message to Tre – Even if the entire offense executed a mere 50% of the time, USC fans would have reason to be ecstatic. And if your woeful OL executed 30-40% of the time, you’d be gaining 200 yds per game.

Wow. Now it’s the USC players vs their own fans/crowd. I never thought it would come to this.

  • Stu Azole

so what can we conclude from the NCAA’s recent reduction of Penn State’s snactions? We can conclude that for SC not to have pursued a reduction more vigorously, there must be a TON of evidence supporting the ruling. That’s right – Pete and his entire team were cheating and the University knew it. What else can you conclude, Sucsters? Haha, cheat ON!

    • sureshot32

I’ve concluded that you are the proverbial turd in the punch bowl. The evidence on that is quite conclusive.

  • EncinitasBruin

In some ways, this reminds me of when Neuheisel lost the locker room. Players started taking the “us against the world” approach, especially when Neu was booed on a couple of occasions at the Rose Bowl.

Fight on Kiff! Believe and achieve it!
