I don’t understand how bruin fans can exist so long in the sporting world, presumably reading ample stories of college football, and still manage to mangle the spelling of the name Kiffin. It’s really not that hard. Think of it this way… Kiffin is all about himself, thus, the repeated “i”. One “i” is not enough for Kiffin so there’s an extra one for good measure.

Penn state’s level of culpability did not even come close to what the corrupt trOJans did. I think it’s a fair decision by the ncaa.

With the NCAA walking back sanctions against Penn State, I wonder if Pat Haden will renew the fight against the NCAA or at least move to sue for damages? Clearly, the NCAA was capricious and wrong in their punishment against USC.

so what can we conclude from the NCAA’s recent reduction of Penn State’s snactions? We can conclude that for SC not to have pursued a reduction more vigorously, there must be a TON of evidence supporting the ruling.
