USC Morning Buzz

The Trojans are in Tempe for what is easily the biggest game of the season to date. How will USC respond? One thing to remember from 2011. Even though USC was beaten by Arizona State at Sun Devil Stadium, the Trojans won seven of their next eight game. Here’s my preview of today’s game.
“It’s the biggest challenge so far this season,” safety Josh Shaw said.

  1. Wow, Wolf actually discusses the game. Of course, he waited until early Saturday morning before he got around to getting off the Pick-On-Kiffin-Trail.

Odds have gone from 6 1/2 to 6 to 5 1/2 ASU, which means if the game were at the coliseum SC would be favored by 1/2 point.

ASU qb looked tough and nimble against Stanford once he got going in the second half. Can SC pressure him into mistakes?– this is my hope for Troy’s chances. That, and a low scoring game

  2. Thanks for the respite wolf. So sick of your unending crap and negative BS. The defense rocks today, just like it did last week. Remember last week was the big test with the great QB from Utah St? Offense is going to get uncorked and pop for some big plays. Odds are it has to happen.

  3. Typical Wolf week consists of:
    20+ posts bashing Lane Kiffin
15+ posts about Scholarships shouldn’t be an issue
1 Q&A that never gets replied to

    then maybe…

    1 game post

  4. ESPN just put the beat down on poor Lane. Totally inappropriate and off target! It’s the scholarships, dammit!

    • Heard them a bit on the radio this morning. The SEC and Big 10 bias is always unbelievable. Saying that our team was the only one who deserved sanctions compared to Oregon, Penn St, etc…?

  5. Finebaum got almost everything right. He forgot how poorly Kiffin treats the members of the Trojan family. Mike Rae’s caddy should be fired for his continual poor decisions in dealing with the NCAA. Bad coach…bad AD!

  6. Seeing all these teams playing I-AA teams this week, it’s great to know that USC, UCLA and Notre Dame have never played one of those. Slightly off-topic, yes, but it can’t be overstated what a distinction that is. Great Yahoo article today on how ballsy Carroll was in his scheduling – especially in contrast to Alabama over the last 5 years.

    • Agreed on the TO battle, don’t know how I feel on the score.

If low scoring affair, advantage USC. If it becomes a shoot out, ASU.

  7. This game will be an easy win against the SAnd Devils.

58-0 against the little hot whether bitchaz. Fight ON!!!

  8. The defense will not have similuar stats against ASU…Offense needs to play better if southern call is to have a chance.
