Everybody has multi-facets to their personality i.e. how you act with your woman is different from your habits at the workplace, with your male friends or at a football game
That said, in listening to Kiff on the radio I thought he had a sly sense of humor and could be engaging. However, I think he basically was an introvert in an extrovert environment i.e. football coach
Also, apparently he tended to be stubborn and egotistical, which when layered on a closed-in persona is going to be off-putting
Of course he did not get fired because of his personality but because he could not win, and because the future looked dismal with him in command
“Wolf is a very misunderstood guy”. For sure.
Scottie is very understood/predictable.
Well it stands to reason, a Goat is generally misunderstood.

In college football, if you can’t
recruit great players, it’s hard to win games. And as the head coach at a
big-time program like USC, you’re expected to excel at both. Lane
Kiffin, who was fired last night
as the Trojans’ head coach after another embarrassing loss, this time
to Arizona State, seems to have had trouble in both areas.
247Sports put together an article
with quotes from numerous USC recruits to gauge their reactions to
hearing the news of Kiffin’s firing. While most were either indifferent
or surprised, one made it very clear that he agreed with the school’s
decision. Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, who is one of the top rated
wideouts in the 2015 class, didn’t hold back how he felt:
“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like.”
That’s right – he’s going with the addition by subtraction idea here. Broadus is excited for the new coaching staff in 2014, which isn’t even set yet, because Kiffin won’t be there. I wonder how many other recruits agree with him.
“Lane is a very inexperienced Head Coach and leader of men”
“But no one understands him but his woman…”
Lane’s got 99 problems and the woman aint one.
John Shaft!
LOL !!!
