The joy expressed by USC players this week doesn’t reflect well on Pat Haden’s decision to wait this long to fire Lane Kiffin.

  1. Scott, you can say and have said some smart things. But stop reducing a multi-dimensional decision to one or another simple variable. Either you’re being insincere, or your own thought process if pretty flawed.

    Kiffin is over, guesses about the future are silly, and you can turn your attention to something interesting about the now.

  6. Way to go way out of your way to be a jerk. Pretty much no one agrees with you. Hadens logic was great and he made the right decision at the right time. Wanted to give him a chance after perhaps an “anomaly” of a bad season. Saw the trend continuing, pulled the plug. Are you PMS’ing?

Another quick thought…Since U Stupid Clowns are likely to finish near the bottom of the division ONCE AGAIN….why doesn’t Haden see about you knuckleheads LEAVING the PAC12 and maybe joining the Mountain West or Missouri Valley Conference where the competition is more to your level? U Stupid Clowns could then become ALL ARROGANT once again claim to be #1 in your “WORLD”.

        • With SIX INTERCEPTIONS, Looks like the defense is coming together nicely. Did you happen to notice how Myles Jack (Freshman All American) could have scored a T.D. at the end of the game but instead played it SMART and ran out of bounds to let the UCLA Bruins run out the clock? No need to rub in UTAH’s face or risk injuries…BTW….how are Marquise and Cravens doing?

  11. Maybe my memory is failing but I don’t recall a single article about player unhappiness other than the Sun Bowl fight which appeared to be more frustration with each other than the coach.

    You can barely hear coach O, but Wolfie is not asking ANY questions?

    I guess Wolf is thinking of the 1-2 questions he wants to beat to death with every coach (i.e. – who will be calling the plays, what happened vs. Notre Dame in the goal line, etc)

    Lane should have been history a year and a half ago. Cojones and PH should not be mentioned in the same sentence. Perhaps his most egregious non-action was refusing to part ways with KO several years before he actually did. It was the reflection of someone totally out of touch with the basketball program. Mr Haden is one very intellegent lawyer with a great football tradition behind him…but methinks too much of a politician to suit the tastes of many hard coreTrojan fans.
