think what you will about Kiffin but Leinart was a great college QB.
Leinart was the beneficiary of great talent around him at RB, WR and most importantly a line that gave him enough time to stand back and choose 1 of 5 wide open receivers. Many QB’s could have done what he did, including his backup Matt Cassel who is still playing in the league. When Leinart got to the NFL the game was way too fast for him and the throwing lanes much smaller. Not sure he was a great college QB.
Matt was the General, he won 36 straight games. That alone is enough to be considered a great QB
