Can USC Make A Bowl Game?

The Trojans need to win four of their remaining eight games. And if you break down the schedule, the biggest toss-up game is probably this week against Arizona. The second most-important game might be the following week against Notre Dame.

The reality is many USC fans would be bitterly disappointed if the Trojans play in a bowl like the New Mexico Bowl. Last year, fans were unhappy USC played in the Sun Bowl.

  1. Relevant fact: Washington State is 2 -1 in P12 North conference. SUC is 0 – 2 in the South conference. Therefore, SUC should windup in the Toilet Bowl. Next loss w/b to AZ, 10/10 at the LA Memorial Morgue. Lose on.

    • Enjoy this week vs cal, because after that it’s gonna get very rough for the gayblue baby bears

      • For a guy who’s mascot wears a skirt and plunges his sword into the turf before every game, you sure make a lot of gay references. Very interesting.

        • Very interesting… A school located in West Hollywood who’s mascot is a cuddly baby bear, and cries to the higher-ups about a trojan stabbing your field. That doesn’t seem gay at all.

          • Now your own use of the clichéd gay accusation, coupled both your excessive use of the adjective latent, suggests rather a lot.

          • If you have to ask about the references, you should probably move to the kid’s table.

          • As always TF, right on point. Here’s a – SUC sucks. The team needs the waterboy. AZ 38 – SUC 17, Thursday night at the SUC mausoleum.

          • At least you didn’t use any words of which you do not know the definition. Stick to the word “sucks.” It appears to be the only word you understand.

          • Speaking of Waterboy, does Orgeron remind anyone of a loveable actor in that movie?

      • No doubt Lostinthecellar, you love gladiator movies. Another latent SUC booster. You probably drive a huge truck and love big guns. You must be one conflicted, confused sailor. Get out of the closet.

          • Obviously you’re not quite six years old. You might want to check a dictionary for the definition of anagram. SUC is an anagram. TrojanFamily is a synonym for low IQ.

          • Yes SUC is an anagram. You are using an anagram designed by a six year old. Do you even understand your own posts?

          • And while you are at it, look up latent. You have yet to use that word correctly in a post.

          • And of course the odd use of the apostrophe in your nickname, with its improper suggestion of a possessive, must make your English teacher proud.

          • Your post is rich. I was issued that nickname by the webmaster’s of this site. Whine to them if you have a problem. Squeak on.

          • Webmasters in your context is plural, not possessive. And I you choose your own nickname. If the webmasters had issued your nickname they likely have debated “addle-minded” and “obtuse.”

          • Your intelligence is latent, but most likely, its range of mentally is below the Mendoza line.

          • Mendoza Line = 200. I admit my IQ is slightly under 200. You might want to research average IQs, and what constitutes genius. Your “insult” would qualify me for a MacArthur grant.

What does “range of mentally” mean? I hope English is your second language so we can chalk up your posts to translation error.

        • You know you’ve lost the battle when you resort to “You probably drive a huge truck and love big guns.” LOL, go ahead and see yourself out now.

        • Do you even know what the word latent means? You might want to google it. You have yet to use the adjective correctly in any of your posts.

    • When someone asks “what do you do for fun? You know, with your free time?” Do you respond “I troll badly on USC sports sites?” I bet THAT impresses the ladies at the bar.

      • No, it’s I point the stark truth on SUC sports sites. SUC family needs a SUC football lullaby before his nap? BTW, I like to impress the ladies at the laundry mat. Raj on SUC family.

        • Get a life, SUC. We know your team/life stinks. Why do you have to come over to this blog and try and bRuin for every one els. Oh yeah, it’s is your nature.

  2. To all the Fucla trolls: We’d rather not go to any bowl with the team we have now. We DON’T CARE about secondary bowls. If you ain’t playing for the NC, who cares?

    • With as many comments as you make on the Bruin site, it’s amazing you can call anyone else a troll, Blow-hard. You may have a hard time getting back to the NC game now that Honorable Pat has established a salary cap for the team.

  3. Cal a comfortable win, Colorado better than last year but a win, Utah played the Ruins tough, won’t be easy but a win. Az, OSU, ND toss ups, Stanford a loss, UCLA depends how the rest of the season goes for both. Any bowl is good for the program especially the younger players with the extra practice time. Wolf this year not going to a bowl will be a disappointment and only you were bitterly disappointed Kiffin wasn’t fired sooner!

  4. Question is can they make a bowl game? Sure they can. Not so sure fans would be upset seeing what the team has gone through. Will enjoy seeing a turnaround.

    • Agreed Steve. It is all about context. If USC salvages what is right now a lost season with a winning record, I for one would be quite happy. USC is at rock bottom right now. If rock bottom includes a Bowl invitation, the program is in pretty good shape.
