USC Morning Buzz

Ed Orgeron is definitely being a players’ coach but QB Cody Kessler said things are not too loose compared to when Lane Kiffin coached the Trojans.
“I don’t feel more relaxed,” Kessler said. “I feel more focused because I don’t want to mess up because you don’t want Coach O yelling at you.” Full story here.

  1. Why is every post about Lane Kiffin? Obsessed much? And Wolfie, are we talking bout Practice? Not the game, not the game. We’re talking bout Practice.

  2. The bottom line is that we all know that Lane Kiffin was a CLOWN, that use to stick his Chest out as if he accomplished something in College Football History. Now USC has real leadership so let’s see what happens at this point.

    • Of course not. Tony turned the job down, if anyone (me), cares. He said he’s done with coaching, period.

  3. Another day, another Wolf blog about Lane Kiffin. This has officially moved into the creepy category. Admit it Wolf, you have a life size Kiffin fathead, on your bedroom wall.

  4. I’m really confused by all of these comments from players re Coach O. Was he not coaching at all this year? Was he not out recruiting this year? What exactly has he been doing this whole time?

    • Obviously his role used to be recruiting strategy and D line, now he is in charge of everything and is free to coach up everybody.

      • He wasn’t allowed to recruit, even though his responsibility was mainly recruiting? Yeah, I get it.

      • And I really believe he will succeed at doing just that. The head coaching answer may very well be right under our nose.
