What Does Brad Kaaya Scholarship Offer Mean?

USC offered Chaminade QB Brad Kaaya a scholarship last night but I’ve heard the offer would have come a lot sooner if Lane Kiffin’s approval was not required.
I’ve also heard the coaching staff would have offered Class of 2015 star QBs Josh Rosen and Ricky Town a lot sooner but Kiffin delayed giving the OK. Perhaps Kiffin was being loyal to David Sills.
In any event, the speed of Kaaya’s offer shows USC is making moves that might have been impossible 10 days ago.

  1. First he wouldn’t approve cookies for dessert & now this!? Good riddance Kiffen!

  2. “I’ve heard, I’ve also heard, perhaps Kiffin and in any event.” Those phrases sum up your low level beat writing career. You make up anything and put that in front or behind your false statement.

  3. Wolf, can you write without any conjecture? Just the facts and the great minds here will compile all the opinion needed.
Sounds like we are going in a little different direction than where Kiffin was wandering aimlessly to.

  4. are we sure SC really offered? Maybe it was just someone pretending to be from SC? LOL – flail ON!

    • Maybe it was you whitebread – your obsessiveness is telling – BTW what Cal State (pick ’em there’s 23 to choose from) did you flunk out of?

LOL…since there are multiple Cal State Universities, correct English should be “…there ARE 23 to choose from…”

        • Oh lovah = it’s colloquial usage – you know what they drill into the Pakistanis and Indians as well as the mainland Chinese before they go ‘pick up the phone’ or ‘go into a meeting?’ “Don’t say ‘do not’ – say ‘don’t'”

Whitebread loser (sound of drums beating) whitebread loser (same)….enslaved to envy…..(sound of drums beating)….hater of USC (same)

  5. Yiu’re echoing what a number of coaches have allegedly said ‘OTR’ about the slyness of Kiffin – he’d make contact out of the blue and then once the prospect believed it was him he’d then give the prospect 90 seconds to decide.

If true it further impresses the power poor Kiffin enjoyed having and will deservedly never have again –

    • I know you speak 8 or 9 languages, but what’s a Yiu’re. Is it Ebonic for too much sugar?

  6. Kiffin was untruthful, egotistical, a poor leader, untrustworthy, unjustifiably hated Scott Wolf, was lucky in 2011, exposed in 2012, and run out in 2013.

    Sincerely,

    Scott W.

    • LJ, I was about to say something until I saw your post was signed by Scooter himself. I’ll bet he probably feels this way in real life. (and aside from the unjustifiably part, I’d mostly agree)

  7. It means that he finally got the only school in the city (USC) that matters, to offer him a schollie. Here come the scavengers in Bruin clothing.
