  1. So what was his finishing time, Scottie?… he obviously didn’t make the necessary adjustments in the second half of his run to finish higher……

  2. My money is on the Stanford Band to make a Kiffin statement when they roll into town-Otherwise I doubt I will be seeing him on purpose

    • That could potentially be a clever show for once by the worst college band and actually enjoyed by everyone. Keep Kiffin’s kids at home.

  3. According to WebMD, obsessive compulsive kiffin disorder (OCKD) is an anxiety disorder that causes a person to suffer repeated obsessions and compulsions regarding Lane Kiffin.

    • So that explains why a Kiffin booster like you still posts here after being humiliated?

  4. I hope he does well in future endeavors,he did his best and that is all anyone can ask of him;been attending or watching games for 62 yrs…remember some times when the victories were few and far between, and punishments not as difficult. Also glad to see Pete C. doing well with seahawks, even beat niners …any comments?

    • I agree – best to him and his endeavors save it would appear he had no idea or cared not to reflect as time wore on, his need to micro-control everything. I hope he has learned for he has truly fallen from a lofty perch I completely and sincerely doubt he shall ever be offered again.

      • I think Ted Tollner was the worst head coach, although he is a very good position coach, just not a head coach,at least at that time;everybody remembers Howard Jones and his thundering herd,or at least heard about him,and John McKay is most recent in similarity;Orgeron out of that mold, like Marv Goux was as asst coach;Jess Hill was a good head coach during very difficult time, not only vs Red Sanders at UCLA(a true great coach)but the PCC punishments and still fielded great to good teams;I guess Pete C. overall best incl recruiting and record and McKay there too.

    • WEB did you notice that the wolfman deleted all the comments from the re-posted Video Log??? Too bad cause those were the funniest comments I’ve seen from trOXans in YEARS!!

      • I saw. I was kind of surprised they shut the comments down; they were mostly pretty mild. Still, probably best not to give people the opportunity to take shots at that poor girl Wolf keeps chained up in his basement.

        • i didn’t see any negative comments about the girl (to my surprise). wolfman usually has skin thicker than a Rhino, so i am surprised.

looks like Jezro was finally right: the wolfman DID regret leaving comments open.

          • I’ve been reading this blog for years, and I still cannot figure out the policy around here about what they will tolerate, or whether they even monitor what people say. At times, it seems like they are keeping a rather close eye on it (for instance, when they were deleting all the posts about Schmed Schmallin); at other times, I cannot believe the profane, vulgar, offensive stuff that never gets taken down. I mean, I enjoy the free-wheeling nature of this forum, but man can it get nasty.

  5. Scottie has officially achieved Stalker Status (with extra credit points for that creepy pic post). Congrats Scottie!

  6. It’s video pix of Kiffy checking himself out in a locker room mirror just before he got popped in the fight that didn’t happen in El Paso. The caption should read ” yeah, I know I suck, but if I wear a sombrero it might be cool.

  7. Why would espn want that “Con Man” on their GameDay telecast ? I’m sure if Lane Kiffin wants to stay in Coaching he will have to start over as a position Coach in the NFL or something.

  8. What is this guy’s obsession with Kiffin already? Did he not kiss Scott goodbye after he finished with him?

  9. I know these are all straight facts, but reading between the lines it looks like Wolf is making a dig at Kiffin for finishing so poorly compared to his peers. Especially with that cheesy photo above. However, if you look up Layla on the race results, she finished with nearly the exact same time (1:01:47). They were clearly running together. Good on you, Lane. Good on you.

    • Good for Kiffin. None of us can relate to the amount of time it takes to be a coach. And whatever you say about Kiffin, he did work very hard. It’s nice to see him enjoying life now and spending more time with his family.

There was a spot on ESPN this morning on Kiffin and the announcer stated Kiffin is a good coach and he will get another shot as an assistant or head coach at a smaller school. The announcer thought Kiffin was in a no-win situation at USC with the sanctions.

      • Kiffy could have survived his tenure if he wasn’t Kiffy, I know Kiffy strictly by his reputation. And that reputation was his downfall. Kiffy did nothing to help himself or correct the SUC FB team erosion.

        • You need to work on your dyslexia. I said “the announcer stated Kiffin is a good coach” – I never said he was.

  10. Got to admire his chutzpah in appearing on a national feed from Dallas-TX for the OK-TX telecast. Thankfully he no longer is affiliated in any way with USC.

Kiffin has amazing resiliency and an ability to hold in check his emotion but at the close of day he can’t coach nor can he motivate – he should stay strictly as an assistant for that is all he can ever be.

  11. Wolfie, what happened to the comments on your video with your nice fit belly? Wolfie likes desserts from Coach O and hates that Lane Kiffin is in better shape with a great family life. Sad, but true.

    • Wolfie is well into his 2nd trimester……and he is having cravings for Oreo crusted cheesecake…..with a scoop of vanilla ice cream… and a Diet Coke…..

  12. Doesn’t this photo look like it could have been on the cover of a 1980s John Hughes movie on VHS ?

    • That’s been bothering me all afternoon. I was trying to remember what poster that was with the guy doing that same thing with his sunglasses. It’s a bit like the Risky Business poster, but I swear I’m thinking of something else…

  13. I have run 10Ks, never really trained for them, and I never beat 1 hour, so I find that a fair time, especially since he probably had no time to train because he was always working on his Denny menu.
