Ed Orgeron On Facing Pac-12 Offenses

USC coach Ed Orgeron was asked about high-powered Pac-12 offenses.
`It’s like basketball on grass,” Orgeron said. “We need to do better job of covering these quarterbacks and pressuring them.”

Shouldn’t they be playing the Cover Someone, rather than the Cover 0? Isn’t that the defense that Monte Kiffin ran?

You’re one of the stupidist persons to ever post here. My heart goes out to you.

“Its like basketball on grass” – Ed Oger

Let me spell it out for you. Basketball is a fast-paced game where the players are constantly moving up and down the court. Many Pac12 teams have copied Oregon’s style of play where they play as fast as possible, up and down the field, trying to wear the defense down and catch them off guard. Still having trouble understanding? I know you bRuins aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box.

      • steveg

They aren’t even in the box.

        • Trojan Hoarse

          They aren’t even bulbs.

      • anno nimus

        Yah, that’s Trojan football alright.

SuC is playing the Four Corners offense then!

Basketball on Grass….Kinda like Lamar Odom?

On another note…Notre Dame was just lucky last season, just like Sucks was during Goat Boy’s first season. This weeks match up features two poorly coached teams loaded w/ over rated 5 star players (unlike Eddie Vanderdoes, who is scratching his head, wondering…”What was i thinking?). After losing in South Bend, the plane ride home is gonna be LONG and QUIET. “Bad team man, bad fu&king team” (6 & 7 won’t get you knuckleheads into a bowl game in El Paso).

LOL..you stole my thunder on the “grass”, Bucket!

Tevin McDonald was on grass as well.

      • Bill

Wasn’t he also TJ MacDonald’s brother, the SuC safety?

10 NC’s in 12 years. Must have been some great grass!

      Couldn’t sleep?

  • john wolcott

Actually, with the uptempo in football, it is more like a fast break in basketball

  • ProbationU

Given your history in basketball, you’d better hope that Ed O. is wrong.

  • Bill

It sounds like Eddie O must be putting out feelers for the Kansas, Duke, or Wake Forest jobs!
