· Archie Manning, former University of Mississippi quarterback and all-pro NFL quarterback

· Tom Osborne, former head coach and director of athletics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

  1. That is what I love about America. Connie Potato, a certified War Criminal, is appointed to the Playoff Committee. I guess a war criminal will provide prestige to the football committee.

  2. No Scott Wolf? I guess they were picking people (Pat Haden) who actually know a thing or two about college football.

  3. Shouldn’t we have more neutral types like Condy Rice and not current athletic directors???? Isn’t that a bad idea???

  4. Does it matter? Some school is going to complain and feel left out of this whole process anyway..

  5. Why is no one commenting on putting Tyrone Willingham on this board? Based on his track record why wasn’t Kiffin, Zook or Neuheisel considered?

    Willingham? On theo other had – good luck Notre Dame when you ‘need’ that single vote’
