USC Picked 11th In Pac-12 Preseason Basketball Poll

Today is Pac-12 media day for basketball and the preseason poll picks Arizona to win the conference title. USC is 11th, which probably makes Andy Enfield happy because of the low expectations. Full poll after the jump:

  1. i don’t BELIEVE that Wazzu is that bad, to be ranked lower the the trOXans!!!

did the trOXans petition the NCAA for one more year of eligibility for Set Shot Buford???

    • ps: wolfman, i see those thousands of crunchers you do daily paid off!! you got the washboard abs back!!!!

i heard you blew away Hershel Walker at the gym when he tried to keep up with your work-out!!!

      AUUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

      • This is one of the creepiest posts in the history of this blog. Is Wolf Lucien Carr to Bucket’s David Kammerer?

      • Bucket, if you post your address, I will send you a t-shirt that says “WOLFMAN IS NUMERO UNO”.

        • Hilarious……heck, I will give you $50 if you make a sign saying “WOLFMAN IS NUMERO UNO” and get it shown on College GameDay behind Corso’s head……..

          • If I thought he would actually wear it in one of his videos, I might actually send it, but he doesn’t seem to have a very wacky sense of humor.

Maybe he’d prefer: “Kiffin banned me from practice, and all I got was this lousy shirt.”

          • Wolfie would wear that like a badge of honor……..Scottie is great at playing the role of the victim…..he chooses to be the martyr for all members of the media …..

  2. Wolf, of course expectations are low this year….. what else were you thinking?……….it’s more difficult to stay on top of the hill versus getting there…. unless it’s you, in which case you’re obviously OVER the hill……

    • T-Whore’s…..Lemme give you a little advice…Take a step back…throttle down a little..You’re posting at T-Fail levels (8 posts on this thread alone?) but with even less SUBSTANCE! You’re not nearly as interesting / funny as your pal, Henry Bibby (he’s got the personality of a Window Licker).
Stay Well and Fit UN torgan!

  3. uh, who cares, SC is a football school, remember? HAHA – losing to Wazzu – still can’t stop laughing at that one.

  4. Pac 12 will underestimate SC till they play them. Look for a much better team this year. The switch from O’Neil to Enfield will be like Kiffin to Orgeron!

    • Rome wasn’t built in a day……give Enfield a couple of more recruiting classes, while keeping some of the local talent in LA, and we’ll be a top 15 program in no time…..

    • I suspect it will be even more glaring than Orgeron replacing Kiffin – i.e. the upward spike in fan attendance at Galen just like the bel-airians showing up at the Rose Bowl two games into their 2012 season.

    • Yes, an eleventh place finish will certainly add to the rich SUC BB tradition. Keep on dreaming.

  5. The Rich TRADITION of finishing in/near the CELLAR continues! No wonder you guys are all arrogant!
    Fit UN Torgans!

    • Be a Little Gutty today. Become a loser tomorrow.

UCLA – home of the conference non champions.

Poor Bruins can’t catch a break. Two weeks from now will suddenly have two losses to STAN and ORE, as always.

  6. Enfield is sharp, and will recruit well for the Trojans. They won’t finish 11th this year in the P12. Frankly, though, the best program in SoCal right now is located just south of me: SDSU.

      • Yeah, and they just landed a very good 4-star in Dakarai Allen–who was wanted badly by both our universities.

        • If only Dillon Baxter had kept his nose clean and stayed home, originally, instead of heading to LA……San Diego has always had solid home grown talent (Marcus Allen, Junior Seau, Sean Salisbury and, for us old timers, Ted Williams)

  7. As I often say, a championship basketball team can be created with 3 stars and 2 pretty good role players.

That is a whole lot easier than building a football team from scratch.

Enfield could prove to be the new West Coast Coach K
