USC athletic director Pat Haden released a statement this morning: “We have always felt that our penalties were too harsh. This decision only bolsters that view. Beyond that, we have no further comment.”

…..we have no further comment. On my way to play golf in Augusta.
If Haden could get ME on Augusta, I might be singing Fight On For Old SC
You write the check, you’re on. I hear it’s $1M.
As a guest JB. However, I can always just enjoy my beloved Riviera where I used to play with OJ from time to time and Tom Kelly….and had enjoyed drinks with John McKay. At Augusta, it isn’t about the money…it’s about who you know.
Political correctness by Pat Haden is getting old. Sue the dam NCAA now !
STAND UP FOR YOUR FREAKING SELF! Gees.. Show some B*lls! If Todd Mc Nair had the B*lls to step up and defend himself, don’t you think SC should do the same?
Time to replace Haden with Vince Ferragamo…..worked SUPER last time.
If Pat “always” considered the NCAA sanctions unfair he should have pulled them into federal court where, rather than proceed with an exceedingly embarrassing pretrial discovery process, they would have reduced their penalties.
As it is, he is behaving rather like the freshman who receives an undeserved “F” and determines his best option is to talk to himself.
