I think this season is the perfect opportunity for a gut check for the team spirit as Trojans. Almost every bruin I know saw us at 5-2 at this point pre-season. Why do you think expectations were higher? I guess we will soon see how good both teams are down the stretch, hey? Will sC beat Furd? Oregon State? UCLA? Well?

I’m just surprised none of the fuclowns have made their way over here yet. They put up a valiant effort and really hung in there with Oregon! Big old 0 points in the second half for that gutty high powered offense! Even USC’s depleted offense managed a field goal in the 2nd half!
From a fan’s perspective, today’s game was AWESOME! Today’s game showed everything that you want from a team in terms of heart, determination, grit, and all the typical football superlatives.. FIGHT ON!
Defense played great today. They made plays when they really needed to. When the offense stalled in the 2nd half, they really stepped up.
Yes it was a great game. I went to the Coliseum seeing SC as the underdog. Hard to see how they could overcome the injuries and the disappointment of how they lost to Notre Dame. When you have offensive line problems, like last week, and then lose all of your scholarship tight-ends plus your starting tackle at the beginning of today’s game, how can you overcome it? Well, they did. It wasn’t pretty, but who cares. Our guys won. The walk-ons did their job (as did Cody, Andre, the receivers and the defense). They will should have fond memories of today for the rest of their lives.
