Tight Ends Xavier Grimble, Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick `Might’ Return This Week

USC coach Ed Orgeron said there was a chance tight ends Xavier Grimble and Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick might return for the Oregon State game. Wide receiver Marqise Lee has a doctor’s appointment this week and remains questionable.

Safety Su’a Cravens (groin) is probable while offensive tackle Kevin Graf (ankle) is questionable.Walk-on tight end Shane Sullivan tore knee ligaments and is out for the season.

    You can partially blame the NCAA for the MASH unit at USC.

      Yes. The NCAA has for many years had a way of issuing sanctions which hit the innocent as much or more than the guilty. If I recall correctly, there was a famous legal professor from Yale, who briefly served on some sort of committee regarding the NCAA. He hated it; said it only existed to make money for the universities and he hoped it would be shut-down. It certainly doesn’t do much for scholarship athletes.
