Larry Scott Did One Thing For USC (And UCLA)

If Utah and Colorado did not join the Pac-12, USC and UCLA would currently be in last place in the South Division.

  1. For losing to Oregon and Stanford…

I believe that Larry Scott wanted to admit Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and some others. He was shot down by the university presidents, unless U. Texas joined them.

I don’t understand the implication of Scott’s observation. In any one CFB season, there will inevitably be coincidences.

  2. That’s great, Wolf. Except that there wouldnt be a south division… Hey Wolf, did you know that if the Pac-8 didn’t add UA and ASU, then USC and fucla would be tied for first in the south division?

  3. …and if Marty McFly could go back to July 2, 1984, he could stop Denise Griffen and Reggie Bush Sr from gett’n their groove on in the back of his Monte Carlo, hence stopping Reggie Bush Jr from ever being born and USC would not be on probation and would be ranked #1.

    • Love it. Typically, wealthy people endow scholarships. We’re still in the Denise & Lamar memorial scholarship reductions era…. Thanks for nothing, idiots! All those tears at the Heisman ceremony – make me sick.

  4. If Utah and Colorado did not join the Pac-12, USC would be 2-2 in conference and would be tied with Oregon St. for 4th place in the Pac-10

  5. Well actually moron USC and Arizona are tied at 3-2 so technically they would have the tie break since you know USC beat them. Why do you always feel ya have to start something?

  6. Scott Wolf says a lot of stupid things, but this has got to be the most ridiculous, irrelevant thing ever posted here.

There wouldn’t be a South Division, Mr. Wolf. And Cal would still be winless.

  7. You know what Wolf, it really is time for you to take some sort of hiatus and try to get some coherency back. You have been at this blog for a long time and it really shows. Throwing out inane, meaningless trivia instead of solid reporting. The blog across town has turned over at least three times in the past few years. It is time to move on Wolf! The oversight of the management at the Daily News is either non existent or stupid.

  8. And if it wasn’t for the Penny Saver, the LA Daily News would be the worst rag in Los Angeles.

  9. Wow. A rare issue to unite both Bruin and Trojan fans: This is an asinine statement.
