Now that Stanford defeated Oregon, ABC will televise the USC-Stanford game and it will kick off at 5 p.m. At least they didn’t wait until Monday to make the announcement.

You apparently have more pull than you realize…..”Fear the Gut”!

Perfect win the toss and take the East end-zone the sun will be in the eyes of Stanford’s Quarterback for the first 5 minutes. Other than that I see no advantage on the west coast for waiting that long to start a game.

I think you meant ‘they’ Stanford takes the ‘Peristyle’ east end zone right?

Yes the stadium map shows it on an east to west line. It really won’t help because the sun will be in our receiver’s eyes… bad joke I guess.

Don’t suppose TV ratings would have anything to do with the timing. After last night’s Stanford win, ABC knows a good ratings winner when it sees it.
Either ABC or ESPN – 8pm in the east.

Sunset is 4:48PM on November 16. No sun in anyone’s eyes.

Great. It’ll give bucket time to get his GED framed, buy his new muffler and clean his pipe before the game.
