This is just the seventh time that a 7-3 USC team is not ranked in the AP Top 25 poll. The other years were 1951-63-66-75-87-98.

  1. Sc doesn’t deserve to be ranked, not yet at least. A win against Stanford should place them between #15 and 20.

  2. Scott, why do you continually bring up the negative? You try so hard not to come across as a USC homer, but what other choice do you have. You obviously aren’t a talented or credible journalist so stop trying to be one. Embrace your inner Trojan homer-ism-ness and get on with living the life you were destined to have.

  4. This post is pretty silly given that you did not put SC on YOUR ballot for the Top 25. It would be difficult to argue that the Trojies are not currently playing like a Top 25 team. Does anyone believe that SC would not beat Louisville, Northern Illinois or Fresno State at a neutral site?

    Polls take care of themselves. Win and you get ranked. Still paying the price for bad losses under Kiffin.

    • Amen – mind you it wasn’t just the losses this year regardless of the horrific implosion against AZ St. and the pathetic 2nd half against both AZ St. and WA St. but the already demonstrated gross ineptitude by Lane Kiffin from last year. 3 weeks to prepare for GA Tech and a horrific loss – no excuse.

          • Interesting!……When Ryan(NOLA) was with the Raiders he was junk and fired. It’s amazing how a coach gets fired for poor job performance then hooks up the following year with more money doing the same thing all over again

  6. Funny that Kadeem Carey is one bone head mistake away from knocking the gutties from the rankings. Guess that will happen again and again and again over these next three weeks. Body blows coming baby bears!
