USC-Colorado Kickoff Determined Next Monday

Fox exercised its contractual right to conduct a six-day pick for Pacific-12 Conference games on Nov. 23. The network will choose between USC-Colorado; Arizona State at UCLA; Oregon at Arizona and California at Stanford.

Fox gets the first selection for its 4 p.m. PT game that day. ESPN has the next pick for its 12:30 p.m. PT game. The Pac-12 Network has the third selection for its game that will kick off at either 7:30 p.m PT or MT. FOX gets the remaining game for its 1 p.m. PT contest.
Got it? If USC plays the night game, it would kick off at 6:30 p.m. PT.

  1. USC will play at 1. I would think ASU/UCLA would be the first choice because it has the most implications for the conference. ESPN would then likely choose Oregon because they always go for the team thats the biggest draw and Oregon is fun to watch. I would think the Pac-12 network would want the rivalry game next, since it might actually convince a few people to watch it. That would leave the USC/Colorado game, which figures to be a blow-out, as the least attractive game.

Or that’s what I’m hoping. I don’t want to have to go to a bar to watch the USC game on the Pac-12 Network.

    • Family man has it right save he didn’t say what time is the best time for the AZ St.vs. UCLA. It should be played at 4:00 pm on Fox. It is the most important game ‘especially’ were they both to lose this coming weekend (UCLA vs. WA and AZ St. vs. OR St.) – UCLA would have 3 losses and AZ St. with 2 losses. An AZ St. loss giving them three.

Were UCLA to beat AZ St. and USC to defeat Stanford and CO it sets up the 30th Nov. for the Pac-12 Southern Championship at the LA Coliseum

  2. Concur with TF and the Commie. For the average viewer, the ASU-UCLA is the most interesting game, USC-Colo. the least. Cal-Stan has the rivalry factor. Oregon-Az a long shot upset. I would guess FOX at 1pm for the Trojans unless Pac12net likes the LA ratings.
