Trojans played the best game they have in years. So much heart and spirit, executed so well. Coach O and the Trojans played their hearts out and opened a can of whoopass on the furd.

2011, on the road against Oregon, was a bigger win
In terms of rankings sure, but we got lucky on a missed field goal by Oregon and in general a sleeping Oregon not taking us seriously. This game showcased the Trojans far more, and was a far more respectable win in my opinion. Stanford showed up, but we outcoached, outhustled, and stuck to the gameplan under pressure. That Oregon game was a win, but still sloppy. This game had much more of a statement to who we are. Ultimately, this is just my opinion, so if you disagree I don’t take offense.
I love the hidden envy from bruin fans. Downplaying tonight’s win. I would like to know from one of them the last UCLA win that comes even close to this. Exactly.

very proud of this team and how they performed against a very strong Stanford team.
that was a great win – but better than the win was the effort and gut check — that was a real battle out there
Stanford had the team this year to compete with bama (due to their linemen and linebackers) — shows that getting out of the pac12 undefeated is a lot tougher than other conferences
this game should be ample evidence to slow down some of the SEC worshiping
