Pete Carroll Congratulated Ed Orgeron

Ed Orgeron heard from a lot of people after beating Stanford. Among them: Former USC coach Pete Carroll, former USC assistant Rocky Seto, Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock who played for Orgeron at Miami, Brian Cushing, Anthony Munoz, Marcus Allen, Cortez Kennedy and Warren Sapp.

    • Actually, per Reign of Troy, “Former USC head coach Lane Kiffin text messaged multiple players after the game to congratulate them personally. According to one player on the USC offense, Kiffin’s text read as the following: “I’m proud of you guys. I’m happy for you and I love you.”………….

      • Kiffin demonstrates class and dignity amidst adversity. Wolf remains a petulant hack. I wonder which one will go on to do great things with his life.

  1. lol. I’m sure Caesar must have felt pretty sweet about SC beating Stanford even “indirectly”. Nobody would assume he had forgotten that infamous question/remark at post post game handshake made by Harbaugh a few years ago.

As for Orgeron, how could he not given at least a one year contract after beating Colorado fUCLA? But if his team loses to fUCLA, not many people would resist the idea of getting a new guy in there. So the final game of the season will probably the game of his life in many ways.

  2. That’s cool but he forgot about the 90,000 people who flooded the field to congratulate him….Which begs the question-Will Ed Orgeron be making the rounds to local hospitals to visit the fans who were overrun with emotion and fellow Trojans at the same time?
