Last Add Lane Kiffin Interview

Lane Kiffin said on 710-AM he thought USC would win its final three games. He also said Ed Orgeron cannot remain as an assistant coach if he is not hired as head coach next season.

“It wouldn’t work,” Kiffin said.

Kiffin was asked what he would do differently at USC.

“I would delegate more. I’d probably let somebody run the offense,” he said. “Be more with the players. Be more around the campus. I didn’t get out and about more.”

      Is that a blog for proctologists?…….Colonoscopy anyone?…

Wasn’t this interview done a week or so ago? Hence him saying “USC will win it’s final three games”?

What’s next? Scott will report we beat Stanford tomorrow?

    • marvgoux1

We play Colorado, fucla and have a bowl game. That makes THREE.

I later found out that Kiffin indeed did do another interview this morning.

However, his comments echo the same ones he made a few weeks back that USC will run the table.

  • Rigged4fun

Kiss of death….Kiffin confirm…although he’s proved he can fall up.

The actual Denny’s menu playbook should be kept on display in the Heritage Hall museum. Alongside it should be a plaque with 10-7 final score of the Washington State game.

It would serve as a reminder that coaching selections can go horribly wrong.

Certainly the University of Tennessee would chip in for a donation.

    • marvgoux1

It would be a great monument to the Sunshine Pumpers that all defended him all those years.

        Are you related to gotroy22?

        • Trojan Hoarse

This is a rather incestuous blog…..

  • Trojan Hoarse

Just to beat the countless trolls to the punch, if Orgeron were to lose one of the final two Pac-12 games this year, would Wolfie’s headline read “Coach O Stinko”?

  • Tom Oday

Read the whole article people. Kiffin had nothing but positive things to say about Orgeron and the way he is doing his job. He stated USC should hire him now. Wolf has taken things out of context.

  • john wolcott

“I didn’t get out and about more (on campus).”

Lane, Lane, that has never been your strength. You are not a real sociable guy; besides, who were you going to talk to– lowly non-athlete students?

  • Arturo

Takes a big man to admit his mistakes. Good luck, Señor Kiffin.

  • marvgoux1

Kiffin is right. Making the new coach keep Ed around would be unacceptable to any big name coach candidate like Sumlin or Chucky.

  • Fred Sampson

Lane Kiffin does not have the personality to be personable, and if he tried something like that he would come across as being FAKE !!!! Some people have it, and some people don’t…..Ed Orgeron has it !!!
