I have tried twice to post a comment with a link they just disappear so if you want a good read go to the OC Register today and read the Jeff Miller piece. If it has an orange symbol it is not a pay to read article.
Good article…..Thanks for the suggestion….now why didn’t Wolfie ever report the “tug-of-war” story before?……….
Because as Miller stated it’s deemed ‘hokey’ by others.
Disqus won’t allow posting of links for some silly reason.
My paper has SC by 3 1/2, over/under 51 1/2. SC should handle things on Defense. Can SC throw on the Bruins will be the key, especially short ones to RBs and Vainuku.
It’s not going to be that straightforward for us on defense. I watched the ASU-UCLA game last week and the UCLA offense was predicated upon short quick passes. If that’s the case this week, then our D line will be unable to get to Hundley. We have to tackle really well and get them in 3rd and long situations.
As long as we are making predictions, I predict that the next time Wolf mentions the Gold Sheet, he will again introduce it as the “venerable betting publication”.
My late dad used to follow the Gold Sheet. Way back when…The Sheet also had Stanford beating SC and SC beating ND.
Hey, sheet happens. ……
How could they pick SC over a team with a Heisman QB, a Butkus winner at LB, the Coach of the Year and the PAC 12 Chumps? Impossible!!!
fucla will be the laughing stock of football if they choke to a so-so SC team.
Completely agree
