Who Coaches USC In Bowl Game?

If Ed Orgeron is out, who takes over for the Las Vegas Bowl? Clay Helton? Clancy Pendergast? John Baxter? Pat Haden? Bueller? Bueller?
UPDATED: A source said Helton’s been asked by Pat Haden to coach the Trojans.

  1. Let’s give Wolf a crack at it, since everything is seemingly so easy for him …….

    • Wolf should be head coach for the bowl game with Plaschke as asst. head coach. Two know-nothing armchair quarterbacks with giant egos would finally get their chance to put their money where their mouths are.

      • Exactly…. I can hardly wait to read Plaschke’s tear jerking obituary Orgeron’s situation….

        • Amen! While you’re at Sandy Banks too – all the libtards at the Times I’m guessing even that ‘busted for using an ailias’ so-called business columnist Hiltzik gets in on the gig

        • He’s writing it as we speak.
I sat behind SC’s bench at Arizona last year. Plaschke was patrolling the sideline, arms folded over his fat gut, jeans too short for his legs. You could tell from his body language exactly what he was going to write as the momentum turned. So predictable. So egotistical. Yet devoid of any credibility.

  2. Traveler. Not bad. We get to keep Traveler and Sark but lose Orgeron. Sarks record at UW is a low, low 34-29. What a rising star. USC’s new moniker – Mediocre U.

  3. So much for “I would jump through a wall for my players”. He’s upset understandably, but the dude quit on his team.

  4. If I were The Capper I would turn down a bowl invitation. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO to gain by playing in the Las Vegas Bowl. Will more players commit with a win over a lower tier school? Very unlikely. Would less players commit with a loss over a lower tier school? Abso-f-n-lutely. Plus, with a new Interim HC the chances of a win are much worse. Let’s see if The Capper has the balls to make the right choice?

    • The main benefit would be the additional practice time allotted to the players for next year….plus the pride factor and sending off the seniors off on a positive note…. and as a reward for all of the BS that they have all had to deal with this season….

        • You’re certainly entitled to your opinion….I guess we agree to disagree….I just don’t like to hide from competition, and I suspect that the players don’t either….if we are going to claim that we will play anyone, anytime, anywhere, I suppose we should live up to those words…..
