• Trojan Hoarse

That would be the smart move………

  • Henry Bibby

SARK!! Already recruiting, I love it!!

  • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

UCLA’s Jim Mora agrees to six-year extension.

    • FightOn

Did Mora really consider leaving though? Maybe, but it sounds like a whole lot of leverage to get a high salary bump.

And why leave? UCLA tolerates mediocrity. They’ll be happy if they continue to be 9-4 or even 7-6. That’s a championship to the Bruins.

      • FIGHTONtoVICTORY

Seriously… He could retire there, as long as he performs average-above average.

        • FightOn

What UCLA needs to worry about is the toxic atmosphere Mora is known for bringing.

He’s sitting pretty because they’re playing decent (though inconsistent). But, his on field actions this past weekend should be questioned. Shaw was a class act after the game, Mora thinks he runs LA and his player’s immaturity is spilling through. He is one tough schedule away from being 7-6. Then, you’ll start to see his claws like the Falcons did.

          • Stu Azole

Laugh the eff out loud. A troxan complaining about a little pomp and circumstance! Now I’ve seen it all! Look at the tweets from his players today – 100% in support of their coach. If that’s toxic, I can only imagine what you’d call SC under Pete, Lane and Sark!

          • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

Celebrating a huge win at your rival’s stadium is “toxic”?

It might be, but only to the rival.

Have the Trojans ever walked humbly off an opposing team’s field after a win?

I realize that it’s hard to see oneself from another’s perspective, but a Trojan complaining about (supposed) arrogance in others is as ironic — and lacking in self-awareness — as you can get.

          • FightOn

It has nothing to do with seeing things from another perspective. It’s Mora’s lying about “We didn’t have room in the locker room so I’m just going to stand in the walkway and yell about owning this town.” Blatantly disrespecting another coach by whining like a child about him not shaking your hand when he is simply congratulating your players is toxic. Allowing players like players to openly snip back at coaches is toxic. This is toxic whether it is USC or UCLA. The inability to realize this behavior because it is YOUR team is ignorance. To ignore Mora’s record of toxicity in locker rooms is ignorance, but I would expect nothing less of you.

            Thanks for proving my point.

There is also the fact that there were several recruits at the game that both teams are recruiting. Many of the recruits were guests of SC but hanging around the Bruins because they won. That was a recruiting speech as much as anything else. Sounds like pretty good strategy to me.

He is also announcing, we aren’t taking any crap anymore. We are no longer “little gutties”.

After that, some SC staff members came and escorted the recruits into the locker room.

          • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

            Thanks for the extra info.

      • gotroy22

I’d tolerate Mora coaching us instead of Sark.

        • Arturo

You sound desperate- SC should never sound desperate or chase anything in powder puff blue – Ken Norton being the exception.

      • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

If UCLA “tolerated mediocrity,” then Mora wouldn’t be the coach, and Wooden wouldn’t be its icon.

You can try to console yourself with absurd mischaracterizations, but so far, Mora’s dominated USC.

Which is why so many here were rooting for him to leave for UW (and so many Bruins feared he might).

        • FightOn

UCLA tolerated Neuiheisel. And his son. Your just as ignorant as that other UCLA racist, HeySUCs. By the way, where is he?

          • Trojan Hoarse

Speaking of New Weasle’s son, is it my imagination, or does he use the same hair stylist as Leonardo DiCraprio?……or, perhaps, as Ricky Schroder?

          • FightOn

            Or Justin Bieber, rather.

          • Stu Azole

Yeah, he’s no Frank Gifford’s kid, that’s for sure! Bwahahahahaha!

          • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

            other UCLA racist?

Clearly, you’re either deranged or inarticulate.

USC “tolerated” Kiffin. Neu was replaced.

And attacking someone’s kid? Typical — but unsurprising — lack of class.

Thanks for proving my point, again.

          • http://amillennialist.blogspot.com Santiago Matamoros

            (That’s mine.)

      • ProbationU

That’s what you just hired, Mr. 7-6.

        • Cheap seats

We could’ve kept Kiffin to go 7-6!

        • FightOn

Have you seen me support the hire? I don’t think so. Yawn.

        • Toejam For Life

Mr 7-6 with a win over mighty Idaho! Just in case they didn’t know, Sark didn’t beat UCLA either!

    • Henry Bibby

haha, where else does he think he’d go?

      • gotroy22

Henry, good to see you, I was afraid you killed yourself Saturday night. Isn’t that funny that you, Trojan Family, Trojan Fan Helen, Trojan Conquest, TDOG Gollum Wolf and Trojan Hoarse all disappeared Saturday until the Sark news?

        • Cheap seats

If you’ve ever been to the Coliseum (it’s the place USC plays at), cell phone & data coverage is next to impossible. I don’t speak for everyone, but for those of us WHO ACTUALLY ATTEND GAMES have fun at the tailgate and the last thing on our mind is what’s going on Wolf’s blog.

After the game, most are hungover and looking for a hot dog cart. Then it takes 1 hour to get our of the freakin parking lots.

          • Trojan Hoarse

I didn’t want to tell Got Roy the thing about the poor reception in the Coliseum…..I enjoy seeing how delusional he can be when left to his own devices….speaking of hot dog carts, has anyone seen Thai-Mexx lately?….. Did he get deported again?

          • Cheap seats

He probably forgot the password to that screen name.

Speaking of hot dog carts, one of my buddies actually got food poisoned after the game from one.

After watching the news segment a while back on the carts, I knew you were rolling the dice!

          • Trojan Hoarse

Food poisoning?…DOH!…….major effing bummer!!!….. it really is like playing Russian Roulette with your digestive system……..

          • Cheap seats

Yep…then we had to pull over in one of the lovely communities along the 105 fwy so he could use a public restroom.

I think we’ll be skipping the hot dog carts from now on… LOL

          • Trojan Hoarse

Actually, Hawkins House of Burgers in Watts, just off the 105 near Central and Imperial, make awesome cheeseburgers….. and CHEAP!…..just be sure to go there during daylight hours, if you know what I mean…….LOL

          • Cheap seats

Cool…I’ll check it out (after an early game).

    • https://www.facebook.com/charles.bucket.3 Charlie Bucket

      Where’s the Crapper???

it just keeps getting worser and worser for the trOXans!!!

can they even TAKE another crotch kick??? well, we’re gonna find out!!!

      • Tom Oday

Where’s the Crapper??? The bumper sticker on Honey Bucket’s business truck.

      • TrojanFan

What the fuc are you talking about(dementia is some nasty stuff) the crapper is your specialty. Why do you think we hired you to keep them clean

  • Stu Azole

haha, where else does he think he’d go?

    • Henry Bibby

Stu, it’s called the National Football League. UCLA players don’t get to experience it. Just like winning the Rose Bowl.

      • Stu Azole

LOL. Look who’s on top of the draft boards right now. Not troxans, my friend, but BRUINS! Shaw couldn’t handle UCLA – I can only imagine him in the league!

  • FightOn

Josh Shaw needs the experience for the NFL, I think. He is a transfer from Florida and hasn’t seen too much action over the years – relatively speaking against 4 year starters. This is probably a really good move for him.

Some of the others, like Marquise, will probably leave since they risk injury for not much else (though Marquise has had a rough season with injuries and a new QB).

    • gotroy22

Sunday on Trojan Brunch they were saying that Marquis may not be recovered physically for the combines and would then come back.

  • Arturo

The Secondary is looking good for next year: Seymour (had some struggles but showed some potential as a first year starter) Cravens, McQuay, and Shaw with the JC kid who redshirted last year due to injury. Adoree Jackson, JuJu Smith, Tony Brown, and/or Jaleel Wadood round out the wish list.

    • Trojan Hoarse

And don’t forget Chris Hawkins at CB…….I think that it’s Gerald Bowman is who you are thinking of…..

      • Arturo

I forgot about Hawk- Bowman from Philly via Pierce JC. Thanks.

  • B.Miller

If your not a 1 – 2 Round pick.. and your family doesnt need the money..
