The icing on the cake is how all the press went to Mora today, burying the Sark hire. Mora’s contract extension announced smack dab in the middle of the Sark presser. Classic. Bruins always seem to be a couple moves ahead, just like last Saturday when there was no answer for Marsh, Barr, Hundley and Perkins. Nice try, Mr. Haden, but your ploy backfired.

You are totally right, complete coincidence that Sarkiffin (way down on the list) is hired on the Monday after the blowout and just so happens to open up the job in the hometown of the coach that blew you out. I wonder who dropped the ball in confirming Mora would actually take the job.

weird, all of the reports I’ve seen, ESPN, FoxSports, Yahoo, etc. all have said that this was a great hire. Ill wait to see how the team plays next season and decide then. Meanwhile, fucla has 2 mediocre seasons and they offer a 50% raise and 5-year deal! You’re AD really is as dumb as everyone says.

Did I say Sark was a great hire? I said I’d wait until after next season to judge the hire. While I don’t know if Sark will succeed here, I do think he did a respectable job bringing a winless team to 4 bowl games or however many. Part of me thinks about what he might be capable of with the talent level he can bring to USC.
